Our Barron and Jacobs design center located at 70 Old South Street, is in beautiful downtown Northampton, a sophisticated Western Massachusetts town with all the cultural, artistic, academic, and business amenities of a big city.

Our offices are a perfect example of our restoration skills. Purchased from the Northampton Historical Society, we have restored it to the beautiful Victorian home that it once was. Built in 1895, is filled with rich history and made famous by visits from Amelia Earhart. Our wonderful carriage house that sits behind our historic home office, housed the first car repair garage in Northampton, Massachusetts. Amelia came here to learn about reciprocating engines, early in her flight career.

For us the Design Center is a place where great ideas take flight. It provides a relaxed atmosphere for you to meet your designer, see work that we’ve done and review your plans as they develop.
